Aims, ambitions & targets!

• Learn to ride again

• Learn more French

• Visit Greece

   

   

I was sitting the other night reading a book about Gap Years whilst listening, with half an ear, to a debate on the recent American election. Somehow, this led to my deciding I should go 'back to school' to improve my French.

This, in turn, led, as these things do, to making a list of 'aims'.  I dutifully made my list: learn to ride again; learn French (I do have my higher, did live in France for 2 years and go back at least twice a year , however my French is mediocre at best); and finally, visit Greece( a painful aim, I'm sure you'll admit!)

Then, I realised.  These are New Year Resolutions.  These are how I'm going to 'change my world'.  But aren't I a bit early?

Well, I suppose that gives me enough time to work out the reasons why I can't possibly do these three little things til next year.....
